The town's first official baseball team (that traveled with uniforms) began in the early 1910's. Nearby rivals included Napoleon, Osgood, Greensburg, Smyrna, New Point, and Sardinia.[1] The diamond was located on the Ben Feldman farm (same site as the Barney Hardebeck Mansion).
